9:40-10:10am – Training New Team Members Presented by #3243 AMES Amperes
One of the biggest contributors to a team’s success is a good training program. In this presentation we’ll cover how our different sub-teams approach training new team members. This summer, our team has had to come up with unique ways to keep members involved despite being unable to interact in person. This has resulted in our team leads taking initiative to create instructional playlists and manuals, improve team communication, and continue to develop our existing projects.
10:10-10:40am - Robotics Engagement, Procedures And Resources During The Pandemic – presented by #5933 JudgeMent Call
Our presentation is about how we are still growing as a team during the pandemic. We will share about our communication, meeting modes, and team resources making this possible. The presenters will be student leadership and they will use Google Slides and share their screen.
10:40-11:10am - How Not to Go Dead in FRC Matches - Wiring best practices to overcome common trouble areas exposed in FRC matches. Will present via a slidedeck and with in-hand components. Presented by James Harris, Lead Mentor Team 3245, Waterford School.
